THE SHORT ANSWER

TLDR

Ferretti Yachts traces its origins to the business founded by Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti in 1968 in Italy. Its flybridge yachts and explorer-inspired INFYNITO range offer distinct ways to spend time at sea. Riviera buyers should compare layout, crew needs, running costs and the individual yacht’s records. We offer buyer-side guidance, not a Ferretti dealership or a guarantee of yachts available for sale.

HERITAGE

What is the history of Ferretti Yachts?

Brothers Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti established Ferretti Nautica in 1968, beginning as boat agents. The Group’s official history traces the move into motor-yacht building in 1982, laying the foundations for today’s Ferretti Yachts identity.

Ferretti Yachts is one brand within Ferretti Group. It should not be confused with the Group’s separate yacht brands or treated as synonymous with every yacht the Group produces. Its core flybridge range has been joined by INFYNITO, an explorer-inspired series.

MODELS, NOT MARKETING RANKINGS

Which Ferretti Yachts models should you compare?

What do we know about the best-selling models?

Ferretti Group’s Q1 2025 results presentation reported seven Ferretti Yachts 940 units sold. That is a specific period’s model-level sales figure, not an all-time best-seller ranking or evidence of Riviera demand. The 720, larger flybridge yachts and INFYNITO are included below for their different buyer use cases.

Model examples below help you form a shortlist. New and pre-owned configurations vary; inclusion does not confirm current availability.

500 / 580

Smaller flybridge models within the brand’s range, for buyers comparing manageable size with accommodation.

Before you buy: Determine whether your intended operation, insurance and experience support owner-operation; do not assume it from length.

720

A flybridge comparison point for family accommodation and outdoor entertaining.

Before you buy: Review cabin configuration, tender handling, stabilisation and the service history of the particular yacht.

940 / 1000

Larger flybridge yachts requiring a more comprehensive operational plan.

Before you buy: Obtain crew, berth and maintenance estimates before letting purchase price define the budget.

INFYNITO 80 / 90

Explorer-inspired cruising with covered outdoor space and a different onboard rhythm.

Before you buy: Confirm battery, solar and energy-management specifications where fitted; practical autonomy depends on onboard loads.

LOOKING AHEAD

What is Ferretti Yachts’s future vision?

The INFYNITO range is a clear product-direction signal: protected outdoor living, cruising flexibility and onboard energy management. Ferretti’s 2023 INFYNITO 90 announcement described solar panels and lithium batteries supporting periods at anchor with engines and generators inactive.

The manufacturer described up to eight hours in that mode for the INFYNITO 90. That is a conditional hotel-load capability, not zero-emission cruising or a lifecycle emissions assessment. The first INFYNITO 80 launched in July 2024; new-generation equipment deserves its own survey and service-support review.

These are dated manufacturer statements and developments, not promises of future resale values, delivery times or environmental performance. Supporting publications are listed below.

YOUR YACHT. YOUR RIVIERA.

How do you buy a Ferretti Yachts on the French Riviera?

A flybridge yacht and an INFYNITO can serve different versions of Riviera life. Start with days at anchor versus passages, guest numbers and shade. Then ask specialists to price the actual systems and crew arrangements rather than relying on a generic maintenance percentage.

Yachting on the Côte d’Azur is a sister company of Living on the Côte d’Azur, led by Anthony Laudin. Our starting point is your brief, followed by a buyer-side search across the market and introductions to independent specialists when needed. We are not presented here as an authorised Ferretti Yachts dealer, and no boat on this page is a confirmed sales listing.

  1. Define your brief. Guests, cruising plans, budget and timing guide the acquisition journey. Read how to buy a yacht on the French Riviera before shortlisting.
  2. Confirm the yacht and the documents. Request title, tax and registration evidence, service history and refit records. Commission an independent survey and sea trial before committing.
  3. Cost the whole ownership plan. Use our Finance & Ownership guide to separate purchase costs from annual berth, crew, insurance, fuel and maintenance budgets. Obtain yacht-specific quotes.
  4. Secure a workable home port. Compare Cannes, Antibes and the coast towards Monaco using the 57-marina directory. Read how Riviera waiting lists work; a seller’s berth does not automatically transfer.

Are there Ferretti Yachts yachts available now?

Availability changes and must be confirmed with the seller or appointed representative. This page does not maintain live inventory. Send your criteria through our confidential yacht brief so the search can be shaped around your requirements.

What does a Ferretti Yachts cost?

There is no responsible single price for the brand. Model, age, condition, specification, tax status and location all matter. Asking prices are not completed-sale evidence. Request a yacht-specific comparison and independent legal and tax advice before agreeing terms.
