Before there was a property portal, there was a personal decision: to leave the Netherlands behind and build a new life on the Côte d’Azur. For Ab and Jolanda Kuijer, it was more than a change of address. It was the beginning of a lifestyle they fell in love with — and one they wanted to share with others. That personal connection to the region, its people and its possibilities still defines everything they do today.
From Amsterdam to the Mediterranean.
In 2006, Ab and Jolanda moved with their family from the Netherlands to the South of France. Inspired by their own experience of starting a new life abroad, they founded Living on the Côte d’Azur that same year.
Ab brought his background in journalism, media and marketing, along with an entrepreneurial vision: to make the French Riviera property market more transparent, accessible and personal for international buyers.
Jolanda brought her natural ability to connect with people, build lasting relationships and make clients feel welcome. Together, they combined business expertise with something equally important: a genuine understanding of what it means to make a home in another country.
From the beginning, their philosophy was simple. Finding the right property is not just about bricks and mortar. It is about understanding the people, their dreams and the lifestyle they are looking for.

In 2012, Living on the Côte d’Azur launched its property portal, opening the doors to a wider international audience and creating new opportunities for buyers to discover the region.
As the business grew, so did the family team. Daughters Sophie and Feline joined the company, alongside son-in-law Anthony Laudin, bringing fresh energy, ideas and expertise to sales, marketing and business development.
Today, Ab and Jolanda remain at the heart of the company, combining their complementary strengths with the enthusiasm of the next generation.
What started as one family’s dream of living on the French Riviera has become a family business dedicated to helping others realise their own.

Anthony takes the helm.
As a former hospitality manager at the Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, Anthony brings a deep understanding of personal service. He went on to work as new business manager at Living on the Côte d’Azur, becoming part of both the team and the family.
Today, he leads our yachting chapter. Under the flag of Living on the Côte d’Azur, his focus remains on understanding your ambitions and making the journey feel personal—from your first conversation to your next horizon.
