Bali Catamarans for Sale on the French Riviera

Open spaces. A different onboard rhythm.

THE SHORT ANSWER

TLDR

Bali was launched in 2014 by Catana Group, from a concept developed by Olivier Poncin. Its catamarans emphasise open-plan living, a lifting aft door and a rigid foredeck. Riviera buyers should test these features against their sailing plans and secure a sufficiently wide berth. We offer a personal buyer-side search, not a Bali dealership or confirmed available inventory.

HERITAGE

What is the history of Bali?

Catana Group launched Bali in 2014, with Olivier Poncin behind the concept. Bali’s official account connects the brand to Catana’s French boatbuilding background; Catana’s earlier founding history should not be mistaken for Bali’s launch date.

Bali developed around a distinct arrangement of living spaces, including a lifting aft door and rigid foredeck. These design choices are meaningful to buyers, but they do not make different models or individual build configurations interchangeable.

MODELS, NOT MARKETING RANKINGS

Which Bali models should you compare?

What do we know about the best-selling models?

The official sources cited here establish Bali’s 2014 origins and model range, but do not supply a current model-level sales ranking or a verified production total. No model is therefore described here as the best-selling Bali on the Riviera. The examples below compare ownership needs rather than claimed popularity.

Model examples below help you form a shortlist. New and pre-owned configurations vary; inclusion does not confirm current availability.

Bali 4.2

A cruising-catamaran comparison point at the smaller end of the models featured here.

Before you buy: Confirm beam, cabin arrangement, sail-handling ergonomics and the precise equipment package.

Bali 4.3 · pre-owned comparison

An earlier model worth distinguishing from newer boats in listings.

Before you buy: Verify build year, past charter use, structural inspections and the condition of moving doors and windows.

Bali 4.6

A larger cruising option using the brand’s connected living-space concept.

Before you buy: Assess loaded performance, helm visibility, shading and maintenance access during a sea trial.

Bali 5.8 / 7.0

Larger models for buyers prioritising accommodation and outdoor living.

Before you buy: Confirm model and delivery status; obtain berth, crew and running-cost quotes for the actual yacht.

LOOKING AHEAD

What is Bali’s future vision?

Bali’s stated product direction centres on open-plan living and onboard self-sufficiency. Its lifting aft door and rigid foredeck are design features, not independent evidence of environmental performance.

Evaluate any solar, battery or water-making equipment on a boat-by-boat basis. Equipment supporting time at anchor does not automatically provide electric propulsion or unlimited autonomy; use realistic energy and water budgets for your Riviera season.

These are dated manufacturer statements and developments, not promises of future resale values, delivery times or environmental performance. Supporting publications are listed below.

YOUR YACHT. YOUR RIVIERA.

How do you buy a Bali on the French Riviera?

Try the living-space arrangements in the conditions you expect to cruise. Have doors, windows, rig and propulsion inspected, especially after charter use. Confirm the marina’s usable berth width and boarding arrangements before committing to a particular model.

Yachting on the Côte d’Azur is a sister company of Living on the Côte d’Azur, led by Anthony Laudin. Our starting point is your brief, followed by a buyer-side search across the market and introductions to independent specialists when needed. We are not presented here as an authorised Bali dealer, and no boat on this page is a confirmed sales listing.

  1. Define your brief. Guests, cruising plans, budget and timing guide the acquisition journey. Read how to buy a yacht on the French Riviera before shortlisting.
  2. Confirm the yacht and the documents. Request title, tax and registration evidence, service history and refit records. Commission an independent survey and sea trial before committing.
  3. Cost the whole ownership plan. Use our Finance & Ownership guide to separate purchase costs from annual berth, crew, insurance, fuel and maintenance budgets. Obtain yacht-specific quotes.
  4. Secure a workable home port. Compare Cannes, Antibes and the coast towards Monaco using the 57-marina directory. Read how Riviera waiting lists work; a seller’s berth does not automatically transfer.

Are there Bali yachts available now?

Availability changes and must be confirmed with the seller or appointed representative. This page does not maintain live inventory. Send your criteria through our confidential yacht brief so the search can be shaped around your requirements.

What does a Bali cost?

There is no responsible single price for the brand. Model, age, condition, specification, tax status and location all matter. Asking prices are not completed-sale evidence. Request a yacht-specific comparison and independent legal and tax advice before agreeing terms.
